nope, don't use his masks at all. His masks just automate certain things you can do in Photoshop. I do it old school, manually.

The top of the canyon was lit by the afternoon sun, and that light was reflected into the red sandstone in the lower part of the canyon.

Thanks bro! Actually, it is not tilted, but since the water doesn't fall straight done but rather bounces off the walls at odd angles, it kinda looks like it might be tilted. But now that you mention it, I can't help but looking at it and thinking: "oh shit, it's tilted!"
