Ah yes, the curse of the Pacific North West. We get either all sun in the summer or all gray in the winter, with a not particularly colorful fall. Thank god for the mountains and the coast.

Oh goodness... this is simply brilliant. The brightly lit plants feel a little overexposed, but that could just be me.

they are a little overexposed - was hard to control the contrast range because of the strong backlighting. I might try a reprocess and bring down the luminosity of the backlit stuff some, haven't decided yet. Thanks!

For most photographers flare is a curse. I've read lots of tips of how to minimize and avoid it and tons of tutorials of how to get rid of it in post processing. I've never read anything saying how you can turn it into a blessing though, that's just genius Ian!
