Alright, I love mountains, and I have to say, this photo blew my mind. The clouds, sunrise, snow, and the mountains themselves come together perfectly. The sunrise gives the photo a magnificent color, and also create shadows to accent the whole photo.
The mountains you chose to focus on also present an interesting subject. The soft, blue background makes the tall, craggy mountains stand out against everything else.
I love the clouds floating at the same level as the mountain. However, the one cloud that is engulfing the tallest peak kind of seems to mask the grandeur of it. This could go both ways though; the cloud hiding the peak gives it a sense of mystery. It gives off a story-like aspect, for lack of a better word.
I do find the mass of blackness at the bottom of the photo a tiny distraction. I understand you will get that from the shadows, but I think the photo might possibly be better if some of the black was cropped off. This is, however, no downfall to the photo. The amount of black is just a preference to me, and no matter what, the photo is amazing.
So, overall, I find this photo simply stunning, and a perfect example of how amazing mother nature is. Great job on capturing this moment!
I`ve seen bad art. I`ve seen some art worse then bad. And then I`ve seen good works. And so finaly I`ve seen Something I call Divinity. Thosse are pieces that have stunned me in a peculiar yet distinctive way. When it comes to elegance, intensity and lucrativity.Your piece definetly belongs in the latest category. I must say that I rearly come across a piece that is expresive in such an poisonous way as your piece right here is. what I look at is unneglecteble. You should go mainstream with the work you are doing.
